Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has expressed the government’s aspiration for youths to become good politicians and lead the nation. During her address at the post-agreement signing ceremony between the government and Gen Z representatives at the Office of the Prime Minister, she emphasized the importance of youths engaging in the country’s political landscape.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Prime Minister Karki encouraged young individuals to stay in the country and participate in productive employment activities, with a vision of them becoming prominent political leaders. She emphasized that while the signing of a single document might not fulfill all aspirations, it serves as a foundational step. The consensus document, she noted, would be published in the national gazette, marking it as a historic record.
During the ceremony, some Gen Z representatives voiced their reservations concerning the compact.
