PM Karki Expresses Concern Over Hyatt Regency Closure Notice


Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has expressed concern regarding the notice about the closure of services and prohibition of employees’ entry at Hyatt Regency.



According to National News Agency Nepal, following PM Karki’s concern, Finance Minister Rameshore Khanal engaged in a discussion with the management of Hyatt Regency earlier today to inquire about the situation. The Prime Minister’s secretariat confirmed this development.



During the conversation, Finance Minister Khanal assured the hotel’s management of the government’s readiness to provide full security. He urged the management to continue operations without disruption, emphasizing, “Do not get panicked. Resume your services with high morale. We are with you. We will arrange for security. Continue your business without any interruption.”



The government has indicated plans to hold further discussions with the hotel management on Sunday to determine the necessary steps forward.
