Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sushila Karki is scheduled to address the nation on Thursday evening.
According to National News Agency Nepal, a Cabinet meeting is set for 4:00 PM on Thursday, after which PM Karki will deliver her address at 6:00 PM.
This will mark PM Karki’s first national address since taking office as the head of the interim government, which is supported by Gen-Z citizens. Former Chief Justice Karki was appointed Prime Minister on September 12, following Gen-Z protests that took place on September 8 and 9.
The interim government, under Karki’s leadership, dissolved the House of Representatives and announced that elections will be held on March 5 next year.
