PM Oli Meets Indian PM Modi Informally in China


Beijing: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has informally met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in China on Sunday. The brief interaction took place during a banquet organized by Chinese President Xi Jinping and his spouse Peng Liyuan for the participants of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit.



According to National News Agency Nepal, Indian PM Modi shared a photo on the social network site, X, depicting his meeting with PM Oli during the dinner at the Tianjin Meijiang Convention Centre. Modi expressed, “Delighted to meet Nepal PM Mr KP Oli in Tianjin. India’s relations with Nepal are deep-rooted and very special.”



The meeting underscores the ongoing diplomatic engagements between the two neighboring countries, fostering discussions on shared interests and regional cooperation within the framework of the SCO Summit.
