Rangpur: Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) Vice-chancellor Professor Dr Md Showkat Ali has emphasized that research is the primary foundation for students aspiring to pursue higher education abroad. “It is easy for students who are good at research to achieve MPhil-PhD degrees abroad,” he stated.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Vice-chancellor made these remarks while addressing a seminar on higher education and research facilities in Germany. The event took place in the virtual classroom of the university’s Academic Building-2 on Sunday afternoon. Professor Dr Md Showkat Ali highlighted that several initiatives have been undertaken to facilitate opportunities for students of Begum Rokeya University to engage in higher education and research on international platforms.
He further expressed optimism that the seminar, which was organized by the German development agency GIZ, would provide students with valuable insights into various aspects such as the application process for higher education or research abroad and the appropriate procedures for conducting interviews.
