Kathmandu: In a football match held under the ongoing SAFF Women Club Championship, the APF Club of Nepal and the Transport United FC of Bhutan played a goalless draw. The match was played in the Tripureshwor-based Football Stadium, Kathmandu.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the draw allowed APF to accumulate 4 points from two matches, while Bhutan’s Transport United gathered 2 points from three matches. Meanwhile, East Bengal AFC managed to secure six points from two matches, illustrating their strong performance in the tournament.
APF had a triumphant start to the championship by defeating the Nasarin Sports Academy of Bangladesh 4-0 in their first match. On the other hand, Bhutan’s Transport United began their campaign with a goalless draw against Karachi City FC of Pakistan.
In their second match, Bhutan’s Transport United faced a heavy defeat against East Bengal of India, losing 4-0. The results of these matches highlight the competitive nature of the SAFF Women Club Championship as teams vie for top positions in the tournament.
