South Asia Regional Youth Workshop-2025 Gathers Young Minds From Four Nations


Kathmandu: The South Asia Regional Youth Workshop-2025 has commenced, bringing together youths from Nepal, India, Pakistan, and Tajikistan for a three-day event. A total of 26 young participants, aged 16 to 25, are attending the workshop aimed at fostering a sustainable future through green enterprises.



According to National News Agency Nepal, Chirring Dolma Lama, the Deputy-Coordinator of the Workshop, emphasized that the event is designed to empower the new generation by highlighting the importance of green enterprises. Lama noted that the workshop serves as a platform for youth to voice their demands to international civil society and government representatives, thus enhancing the youth network across South Asia. The event is expected to facilitate the exchange of crucial information regarding the state of green enterprises.



Deputy Coordinator Lama highlighted that the workshop is organized under the theme ‘Green Entrepreneurship and Youth Empowerment: An Initiative for a Better Future.’ The program includes discussions on climate resilience, youth skill development, and policy advocacy. Participants will engage in various interactive sessions, presentations, and discussions with policymakers and experts.



The workshop, which is organized in collaboration with Children and Women Social Service and Human Rights (CIVIS) and Terre des Hommes (TDH), Germany, features twelve participants from Nepal, eight from India, four from Pakistan, and two from Tajikistan. The event is scheduled to conclude on Saturday.
