Sports Council Gets Five Board Members


Kathmandu: The Ministry of Youth and Sports has appointed five members to the National Sports Council (NSC): The Ministry of Youth and Sports has appointed five members to the National Sports Council (NSC).



According to National News Agency Nepal, Minister Bablu Gupta made the appointments based on the recommendation of the Council. The newly appointed board members include Jagat Bahadur Tamata, a former coach of the Nepal National Cricket Team; Sant Kumar Mehata, a board member of the Rugby Association; Rozesh Khadka, a representative of the Nepal Association of Rafting Agencies; Kumar Lama Ghising, a representative of the Nepal Taekwondo Association; and Prayas Karki, who was recommended by the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI).



The members will serve a four-year term and were sworn in on Friday.
