Andheri: Three people were killed and 19 others injured in a road accident that took place in Andheri of Bakaiya Rural Municipality-7, Makawanpur. The deceased have been identified as Keshav Majhi, 55, Yubaraj Majhi, 55, and Shantalal Majhi, 45, residents of the same locality. The accident took place earlier this afternoon involving a tractor (Lu.5 Ta. 147), shared Deputy Superintendent of Police Pushkar Bogati, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Makawanpur.
According to National News Agency Nepal, a total of 22 people traveling in the tractor were injured in the accident, and three of them succumbed to their injuries during treatment at a hospital in Hetauda. The cause of the accident is not yet known, and further investigation is underway, Spokesperson Bogati said.
