Kathmandu: The Tribhuvan University (TU) has urged everyone involved to address conflicting issues through systematic talks and dialogue. This appeal aims to ensure that the university continues to fulfill its responsibility of providing quality education without disruptions.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the TU Information and Public Relations Division issued a notice requesting that agitating parties refrain from activities that could impede the academic session. The university emphasized the importance of resolving disputes through constructive conversations, encouraging students, well-wishers, and concerned parties to engage in dialogue if any issues or misunderstandings arise.
The university highlighted that incidents such as padlocks, strikes, arson, and vandalism have severely jeopardized the implementation of its academic calendar. TU clarified that, as per its regulations, there is no provision for reexamination at any level once decisions are made by the TU Academic Council.
The Division underscored the necessity of adhering to the academic calendar, which includes key activities like registration, class commencement, examination form management, examination operations, and result publication, as these are vital for the university’s functioning.
