Bhaktapur: The 11th National Congress of the CPN UML is set to be inaugurated shortly, with a significant security detail in place to ensure the safety of attendees. Leaders, representatives, and cadres from across the nation have gathered at the Nepal Trust Office lawn in Sallaghari, Bhaktapur for the event.
According to National News Agency Nepal, as many as 2,500 security personnel have been deployed to secure the inaugural venue. This comprehensive security arrangement includes highly trained sniffing dogs. Chief District Officer in Bhaktapur, Umesh Prasad Dhakal, has confirmed that the security situation around the site has been significantly bolstered.
The security team comprises the Nepal Police, the Armed Police Force, and additional personnel in plain clothes, all dedicated to maintaining order and safety. Over 50 CCTV cameras have been installed at strategic locations to monitor activities and deter any suspicious behavior. Additionally, UML Chairman in Bhaktapur, Bachan Deuja, has noted that a team of youth volunteers is also contributing to the security efforts.
