Bhojpur: As high as 500 people, mostly senior citizens, have benefited from a free eye camp held in Bhojpur. A large number of individuals regained their eyesight following cataract surgeries conducted during the three-day event organized by Nepal Netra Jyoti Sangh.
According to National News Agency Nepal, a team of doctors, including Rakshya Basnet from Biratnagar Eye Hospital, performed surgeries on 118 patients out of the 497 individuals who visited the camp for eye examinations. The Biratnagar Eye Hospital has been instrumental in providing technical support for such eye camps in the hilly districts of the eastern belt.
