Kathmandu: Government has decided to accept Rs 14.38 billion soft loan to be provided by the Asian Development Bank for the public finance management and fiscal transfer.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the Cabinet meeting held on Monday also decided to hand over the building and 115 bighas of land under the joint registration of Pavan Kumar Sharda and Murali Lal Murarka to Ramkumar Sharad Uma Prasad Murarka Provincial Hospital at Lahan municipality of Siraha district. The gain tax on this transfer would be excised.
Government spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Jagadish Kharel, announced that a delegation would be formed under the coordination of a joint secretary at the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development. This delegation is set to attend a meeting of the Nepal-India Joint Agriculture Taskforce, which will be held in Kathmandu from December 27 to 29.
The Cabinet further made decisions regarding the promotion and installment of several security officials.
