Koteswor: A girl lost her life and three others sustained injuries when a bus, identified by its registration number Ba 3 Kha 7062, collided with a Maruti van and a motorcycle in Tinkune, Koteswor this morning.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Nagina Tamang, a 23-year-old pillion rider from Nuwakot, succumbed to her injuries while receiving medical treatment, as informed by Apil Raj Bohara, the spokesperson of the District Police Range. The accident left three others injured: motorbike rider Padam Thapa Magar, 27, from Ramechhap, Doramba; van driver Ratna Bahadur Sarki, 35, from Kavrepalanchowk, Mandandeupur; and Menuka Budhathoki, 24, from Gaurishankar, Dolakha.
In response to the incident, police authorities have apprehended the bus driver, Ram Kumar Khadka. Additionally, the involved van and motorcycle have been impounded as part of the ongoing investigation.
