Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has hosted a dinner in honour of foreign guests attending the Sagarmatha Sambaad on Friday. The event marked a significant gathering, reflecting Nepal’s commitment to fostering international dialogue on mountain-related issues.
According to National News Agency Nepal, PM Oli warmly welcomed the guests at the reception, which was attended by Deputy Prime Ministers, ministers, high-level government employees, policymakers, and experts from various foreign countries. This dinner highlighted the importance of international collaboration in addressing global challenges.
The Sagarmatha Sambaad has attracted more than 175 foreign delegates from over three dozen countries. The 3-day mountain dialogue in Kathmandu began with an inaugural session followed by various parallel plenary sessions conducted on Friday. The event aims to facilitate discussions on the critical issues facing mountainous regions and promote sustainable development initiatives across the globe.
