SEE Results Reflect Improvement, Diligence: PM Oli

Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has stated that the improvement in the secondary education examination (SEE) results was achieved through the diligence of students and teachers. Addressing the House of Representatives meeting today, PM Oli highlighted the collective efforts that contributed to the progress in the SEE outcomes and expressed his intention to work towards further improvements in the coming years.

According to National News Agency Nepal, the Prime Minister extended his best wishes to all students and teachers, acknowledging their role in achieving a significant rise in the pass percentage, which increased to 61.81 percent from below 48 percent. PM Oli expressed his happiness over this progress, emphasizing that it was a noteworthy accomplishment after a prolonged period.

However, PM Oli voiced his concern over some criticisms regarding the pass percentage, arguing that such negative remarks undermine the hard work of the students. He stressed that these comments could potentially insult the new generation, whom he believes have shown commendable dedication.

In addition to his remarks on education, the Prime Minister addressed the government’s preparedness for monsoon-related disasters. He emphasized that the country is susceptible to natural disasters, making it challenging to predict when and where they might occur. Hence, the government has intensified its efforts to ensure readiness for necessary rescue and relief operations for disaster survivors.
