Kathmandu: President Ramchandra Paudel has assigned the responsibility of the Acting Prime Minister to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development, Prakash Man Singh. Singh is tasked with handling daily administrative duties in the absence of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Prime Minister Oli has departed to attend the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FFD4) in Sevilla, Spain. The conference is scheduled to take place from 30 June to 3 July. Singh’s appointment ensures continuity in the administrative functions of the government during the Prime Minister’s absence.
