Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli arrived in Madrid to participate in the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development organized by the United Nations. Nepali Ambassador to Spain, Shanil Nepal, along with Permanent Representative of Nepal to the United Nations, Lok Bahadur Thapa, and senior officers from the Spanish Foreign Ministry welcomed Prime Minister Oli at Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the Nepali delegation led by Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to proceed to Seville, where the conference will be held, later this evening. Prior to his arrival in Spain, Prime Minister Oli met with Tanzanian Vice President, Dr. Phillip Mpango, at Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar.
The meeting with Vice President Mpango focused on discussing aspects of mutual relations between Nepal and Tanzania. Prime Minister Oli’s Principal Advisor, Bishnu Prasad Rimal, and other officials accompanying the Prime Minister were present during the meeting.
