Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has announced that the national economy is showing signs of improvement. In a recent social media update, PM Oli revealed that revenue collection has increased by Rs 108 billion compared to the last fiscal year, signaling a positive shift in the country’s economic landscape.

According to National News Agency Nepal, the revenue collected until July 10 this fiscal year amounted to Rs 1,097 billion. PM Oli asserted, “Economy sees upward trend. In a year since the formation of this government, the economy increased by Rs 400 billion, thereby reaching Rs 6,100 billion.” This illustrates a significant boost in economic activities under the current administration.

The Prime Minister also highlighted an increase in capital spending by Rs 36 billion since the last fiscal year, further supporting his claims of economic progress. The increase in both revenue collection and capital spending suggests a concerted effort by the government to bolster economic growth and stability.
