Dhangadhi: Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Dipak Khadka has made it clear that there is no loadshedding at present. During a programme in Dhangadhi, Minister Khadka dispelled the rumors of power cuts and stated that Nepal is even exporting power.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Minister Khadka explained that the electrical issues being experienced are due to circuit tripping caused by overload from increased power consumption during the hot season. He also highlighted that maintenance and fires in power transformers are common technical issues in the rainy season.
Minister Khadka further clarified that these maintenance activities take time, and rumors suggesting they are power cuts are misleading.
