Pokhara: Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba has announced that Pokhara has been developed as a hub for adventure tourism. Marking the inauguration of the Bagaincha Resort Spa, operated by Anshubhara Group in Pokhara, the Foreign Minister highlighted the city’s status as an attractive tourist destination.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Minister Deuba reminisced about her childhood visits to Pokhara, expressing how the natural beauty of the city captivated her. She also emphasized the need for Nepal to remain vigilant about the impacts of climate change, particularly given the severe effects of floods in neighboring countries.
On the same occasion, Khagaraj Adhikari, the former Chief Minister of Gandaki Province, described Pokhara as a remarkable gift of nature, noting that it is a primary destination for adventure tourists visiting Nepal. Additionally, Bindu Kumar Thapa, Chairman of Anshubhara Group and Social Development Minister of Gandaki Province, stated that the company aims to innovate in tourism, entrepreneurship development, and job creation.
