CMR Nepal Donates 30 Media Books to RSS


Kathmandu: The Centre for Media Research-Nepal has donated 30 books to the Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS). Centre’s Director Ujjawal Acharya personally delivered the books to RSS Executive Chairperson Dharmendra Jha at the RSS Central Office, Bhadrakali Plaza.



According to National News Agency Nepal, Executive Chairperson Jha expressed confidence that the media-related books would be beneficial for RSS and its stakeholders. He highlighted that RSS serves as a valuable platform for journalists, mass media students, and media enthusiasts to study and engage with media resources.



Centre’s Director Acharya emphasized the significance of RSS within Nepal’s media community, noting the importance of the library established there. Acharya stated, “We expect that the RSS library will be a destination for journalists, students of journalism, and those interested in media and journalism.” He also mentioned that the library would support media studies and research, praising RSS for its efforts in digital media and compiling media history.



The Centre donated its publications covering topics such as media studies, media research, and data journalism.
