27 High Court Judges Appointed and Deputed Across Nepal


Kathmandu: Today’s meeting of the Judicial Council has appointed 27 judges for the high courts and made their deputation. The appointments are aimed at strengthening the judicial system and ensuring efficient legal proceedings across various regions.



According to National News Agency Nepal, the appointed judges include Yam Bahadur Budhamagar at High Court Surkhet, Gopal Prasad Bastola at High Court Patan, and Giriraj Gautam at High Court Dipayal. Other appointments include Yubraj Gautam for High Court Biratnagar, Tej Narayan Poudel at High Court Tulasipur, and Prakash Dhungana at High Court Patan. Additionally, Deepak Kumar Kharel, Kamal Prasad Pokharel, and Shiva Bahadur Ranabhat have been appointed to High Court Patan, while Basudev Neupane, Dal Bahadur KC, and Prakash Chandra Adhikari take positions at High Court Patan, Tulasipur, and Dipayal respectively.



The list continues with Ramesh Prasad Gyawali at High Court Patan, Uday Prasad Bhattarai at High Court Biratnagar, and Awani Mainali Bhattarai at High Court Patan. Khadga Raj Adhikari has been deputed to High Court Dipayal, Shankar Khatri to High Court Janakpur, and Achyut Kuinkel to High Court Patan. Komal Bahadur Khatri and Sharmila Bista have been appointed to High Court Surkhet and Patan, respectively, while Pratap Singh Thakurathi joins High Court Tulasipur, and Bal Krishna Gaire is assigned to High Court Pokhara.



Further appointments include Nisha Baniya at High Court Tulasipur, Shyam Kumar Bishwokarma at High Court Dipayal, and Arun Kumar Panjiyar at High Court Biratnagar. The appointments are expected to enhance the judicial functioning and provide better service to the public across the regions.
