Kathmandu:Devotees have gathered at various Goddess shrines and temples across the country, including the Kathmandu Valley, to celebrate the eighth day of Bada Dashain, known as Maha Ashtami.
According to National News Agency Nepal, there is a significant turnout at prominent shrines such as Guheshwori, Kalikasthan, Naxal Bhagawati, and Bhadrakali in Kathmandu, where the temples are adorned for the occasion.
Devotees have also flocked to other notable sites like Dakshinkali temple, Manakamana in Gorkha, and Pathibhara in Taplejung. The influx of worshippers is seen from early morning, with people offering special prayers to deities Maha Kali, Maha Laxmi, and Maha Saraswoti.
