Syafrubensi:Authorities have expedited the process of installing a bailey bridge at Syafrubensi, intended to be a motorable facility.
According to National News Agency RSS, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA) and the local administration are coordinating efforts to set up the bridge.
Chief District Officer Kamal Prasad Pande and Executive Chief of NDRRMA, Dharma Raj Uprety, conducted a field visit to various construction sites in the Syafrubensi area, which was devastated by the August 26 glacial disaster. The motorable bridge that connected Rasuwa district headquarters, Dhunche, to Syafrubensi was destroyed by the flash flood, and a foundation for the new bridge has already been built.
The local administration has announced that work on the new bridge is proceeding around the clock to ensure completion before the Tihar festival. The District Administration Office has also provided a steel cable for setting up the facility.
