Bharatpur: Internationally acclaimed chef Binod Baral has been bereaved of his father. His father, Krishna Prasad Baral, 77, breathed his last at his residence in Bharatpur metropolis-9, Sri Ishwari Mai Temple, on June 27.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the family sources mentioned that Krishna Prasad Baral apparently had no critical health issues. He was a former officer in the Indian Army. Krishna Prasad Baral is survived by his two sons and a daughter.
Binod Baral, a Nepal-born British chef, restaurateur, and global food consultant, is renowned for his culinary expertise. He was honored in the UK House of Lords for his significant contributions to promoting Nepali food culture.
