Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has extended his best wishes to all on the occasion of the 212th birth anniversary of the pioneer poet Bhanubhakta Acharya. Prime Minister Oli today took to his social media account to extend his best wishes on the occasion of Bhanu Jayanti while noting that the poet connected the Nepalis with a bridge of language and emotions, after immersing the Ramayana into the minds of the people.
According to National News Agency Nepal, tributes were paid to Bhanubhakta, who initiated the first ever writing in the Nepali language, with celebrations taking place across the country. Prime Minister Oli expressed his heartfelt wishes to all the literati on Bhanubhakta Jayanti, acknowledging the poet’s significant contribution to Nepali literature.
