Kathmandu: The National Assembly has unanimously passed a proposal seeking endorsement of the ‘Bill to Amend Some Nepal Acts, 2080’, which was received with a message from the House of Representatives. Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ajay Kumar Chaurasia presented the proposal during the Assembly meeting.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Chairperson of the Legislative Management Committee, Tulsa Kumari Dahal, also presented the Committee’s report on the ‘Customs Bill, 2080’. This bill, too, was received with a message from the House of Representatives. The Customs Bill aims to streamline the customs process, ensuring it is systematic, transparent, and accountable. This, in turn, is expected to facilitate and secure international trade and enhance the effectiveness of revenue collection.
