Kathmandu: Prime Minister and Chancellor of Tribhuvan University KP Sharma Oli has formed a three-member recommendation committee under the coordination of Minister for Education, Science and Technology Raghuji Pant to select the next Vice Chancellor of Tribhuvan University.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the committee members include Geeta Kumari Poudyal, a member of the National Planning Commission, and Dr. Deepak Kafle, Secretary at the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
The position of Vice Chancellor has been vacant since March 25, following the resignation of the University’s outgoing Vice Chancellor, Prof Dr Keshar Jung Baral.
