Kathmandu: Nepali Congress leader and former minister Pradeep Paudel has announced that he will be a candidate for the position of General Secretary in the party’s 15th General Convention.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Paudel, while talking to journalists, shared that he had previously competed for the General Secretary position in the party’s 14th General Convention but was not successful. He has now formally declared his intention to contest for the position in the upcoming 15th General Convention.
Leader Paudel emphasized that the party’s 15th General Convention must be completed before the Nepali Congress can proceed to the general election scheduled for 5 March under new leadership.
