CPN (Maoist Center) Standing Committee Reconvenes to Discuss Political Proposals


Kathmandu: The Standing Committee of the main opposition, CPN (Maoist Center), is convening today to continue discussions on key political proposals and pressing contemporary issues.

According to National News Agency Nepal, the meeting, which originally began on Saturday, is set to resume at 11:00 am at the party’s central office in Parisdanda. Vice Chairman and Spokesperson Agni Prasad Sapkota confirmed the schedule and highlighted that the discussions are centered around political proposals put forth by party Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal, also known as ‘Prachanda.’

On the previous day, discussions included contributions from 18 Standing Committee members, five office bearers, and one member from the Disciplinary Commission. These members shared their insights and opinions on the proposals and current political challenges, setting the stage for today’s continued deliberations.
