Darchula: An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale was recorded near Kalapani in the northern part of Darchula district along the Nepal-China border at 9:24 pm on Tuesday.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center in Lainchaur confirmed the occurrence of the quake in Darchula district of Sudurpashim Province. This follows an earlier earthquake recorded in Martadi, Bajura, which measured 3.4 on the Richter scale on Monday evening. In recent days, small tremors have continued to occur in western Nepal.
