Kathmandu: The 13th Senate meeting of Far Western University has approved a budget of Rs 1.54 billion for the upcoming fiscal year. The meeting was chaired by Prime Minister and Chancellor of the University, KP Sharma Oli, and held at his official residence in Baluwatar.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the budget and program presented by the University’s Registrar, Prof Dr Binod Lekhak, were passed with amendments. Chancellor Oli emphasized the importance of maintaining the University’s financial health and instructed officials to present a realistic budget. He also highlighted the necessity for the University to conduct audits according to the rule of 2081/82.
