Geneva: The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) and the Cambodian Federation of Employers and Business Associations (CAMFEBA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening bilateral trade cooperation. The agreement was formalized during a program held in Geneva, Switzerland, with key representatives from both organizations and Nepal’s Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security, Sharat Singh Bhandari, in attendance.

According to National News Agency Nepal, the MoU emphasizes the exchange of best practices in areas such as employment, labor laws, and enterprise development. The parties have committed to launching joint programs focused on research, capacity building, and investment promotion. The agreement outlines plans for cooperation in business-to-business (B2B) activities, identification of trade partners, collaboration between trade forums, and mutual support in exploring investment opportunities.

The MoU specifies that collaborative efforts will be made in entrepreneurship, industrial relations, human resources, professional security, skill development, and investment promotion sectors. CAMFEBA Vice President Sok Lor expressed optimism that the partnership would create new opportunities, strengthen networks, and foster regional collaboration.

According to the Secretariat of President Dhakal, regular consultations and necessary measures will be arranged to ensure the effective implementation of the MoU.
