Madrid: President of the Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI), Chandra Prasad Dhakal, has called upon the Spanish business community to invest in Nepal, emphasizing the country’s investment-friendly environment. Dhakal’s appeal came during a program organized by the Embassy of Nepal in Madrid, Spain, aimed at fostering economic collaboration between the two nations.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Dhakal highlighted potential investment opportunities in various sectors including tourism, agriculture, information technology, and infrastructure. He urged Spanish investors to take advantage of these prospects, assuring them of a conducive atmosphere for foreign investments in Nepal.
The event witnessed participation from members of the Spain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, business leaders, representatives of the Nepali community, and diplomats. Dhakal particularly underscored the lucrative potential of Nepal’s tourism industry, noting its significance as a vital component of the nation’s economy.
