Itahari: Minister for Water Supply Pradeep Yadav has emphasized the government’s dedication to resolving drinking water issues and enhancing the quality of life for citizens.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Minister Yadav inaugurated the ‘Jhumka Urban Drinking Water and Sanitation Project,’ expressing optimism that the initiative will meet the developmental aspirations of citizens by providing them with access to clean drinking water.
Minister Yadav highlighted the active efforts and clear vision of his department, noting that the Department of Water Supply has achieved 90 percent financial progress. He stated this as evidence of the department’s improved performance and sustainable practices.
At the same event, Mahesh Mahato, Head of the Regional Water Supply and Sewerage Management Project Office in Itahari, detailed that approximately 22,787 residents from 4,031 families in Ramdhuni Municipality-1, 2, 3, and 5 will directly benefit from the newly inaugurated drinking water project.
