Kathmandu: The Meteorological Forecasting Division has indicated an influence of westerly and local winds across the western and central regions, while monsoon winds are impacting Koshi province. As a result, the country will experience partial to generally cloudy weather this afternoon.
According to National News Agency Nepal, there is a chance of light to moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning in some hilly areas, particularly in the Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces. The Division has highlighted that heavy rainfall is likely in one or two locations within Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces.
Additionally, there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall occurring in one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas. The weather tonight in the hilly regions, including Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, is expected to be partially to generally cloudy, while other areas are expected to remain mostly clear.
