Kathmandu: The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies has appointed three expert members to the Board of Trade representing the private sector. Those appointed are Kush Kumar Joshi, Bidhusi Rana, and Jyotshna Shrestha.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the appointments were made in accordance with the Commerce Policy, 2081, following a minister-level decision dated July 29. The appointments were confirmed by the Private Secretariat of Industry Minister Damodar Bhandari.
The inclusion of these experts is expected to enhance the representation of the private sector in the Board of Trade, aligning with the ministry’s efforts to incorporate diverse perspectives in trade-related discussions and decisions.
