Karnali: The policy and programmes for the fiscal year 2082/83 have been passed unanimously in Karnali Province. Chief Minister Yamlal Kandel presented the proposal in the meeting of Karnali Province Assembly, seeking passage of the policy and programmes for the fiscal year 2082/83.
According to National News Agency Nepal, after the submission of the proposal seeking its passage, Speaker Nanda Gurung took a decision based on verbal consent and vote. Although the lawmakers of the major opposition, CPN (Maoist Centre), voted against the proposal, the lawmakers of the ruling parties voiced in favour of the policy and programmes. With this, Speaker Gurung announced the passage of the policy and programmes based on the majority of votes.
The Province Assembly will meet next at 3:00 pm on Monday.
