Sindhupalchowk: Landslides in three different places at Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality in Sindhupalchowk district have obstructed vehicular movement along the Araniko Highway. Police Inspector Jagat Bahadur Rai reported that vehicular movement was completely obstructed following landslides at Kodari, Larcha, and Koplang. Efforts are currently ongoing to clear the obstructions.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the movement of goods-laden containers along the Tatopani checkpoint has also been suspended after the road collapse. Additionally, three houses sustained damage after a landslide, triggered by torrential rainfall, occurred at Liping Bazaar in Bhotekoshi-2. Chief District Officer Kiran Thapa stated that the houses of locals Padam Shrestha, Phulmaya Tamang, and Sunita Shrestha were damaged due to the landslides.
