Lalitpur: Minister for Communication and Information Technology Jagadish Kharel has urged voters to cast their votes for candidates who could bring positive changes in the country. At a programme organized by an academic institution in Lalitpur, Minister Kharel emphasized the importance of electing leadership capable of ensuring positive changes in the upcoming March 5 election.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Minister Kharel highlighted the need for the general public to make informed decisions in leadership selection to address the trend of youth outmigration. He stressed that leadership committed to positive transformation could work for public welfare in sectors such as education, health, and employment.
Minister Kharel also pointed out the necessity of creating a conducive environment for the new generation to stay and work within the country, urging the election of qualified and efficient leaders. He reiterated that the government’s first priority is to hold the election as scheduled.
Furthermore, Minister Kharel shared his observation regarding the excessive use of social networking sites and modernity, which he believes has created a gap between grandchildren and their grandparents. He encouraged academic institutions to impart knowledge on good cultures and civilizations, as these play a crucial role in producing good citizens necessary for the success of society and the nation.
