Bhotkhola: Simbokpa Danda of Bhotkhola rural municipality has received 4G service from Nepal Telecom. With the activation of the Base Transceiver Station (BTS) by Nepal Telecom, locals now enjoy modern communication facilities. Prem Rai, the Chief of Nepal Telecom in Khandbari, described the 4G service as a significant achievement because residents of Simbokpa Danda had been deprived of communication services for a long time.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the installation of the tower was a collaborative effort involving a technical team led by Telecom engineer Ashish Acharya, the Chairman of ward no 2 in the rural municipality, Jippa Bhote, personnel from the Nepali Army, and local residents. Despite the challenging and remote mountainous geography, the team successfully installed the tower and launched the 4G service, as confirmed by Nepal Telecom.
Furthermore, it has been announced that the Kimathanka area of Bhotkhola rural municipality-1 will also be provided with modern communication services in the coming days.
