Kathmandu: Coordinator of Nepali Communist Party Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that there was no other option but to hold elections on time to end the political challenges of the country. Welcoming leaders from different political parties into the Nepali Communist Party on Saturday, the former Prime Minister emphasized the need to fully prepare for the polls, rejecting the idea of reinstating the House of Representatives (HoR).
According to National News Agency Nepal, Coordinator Prachanda urged the government to conduct the elections in a free and fair manner. He highlighted that the current political uncertainties and confusion should be resolved by ensuring good governance. Prachanda also mentioned ongoing efforts to unite like-minded communist forces, indicating that additional political parties are expected to join the Nepali Communist Party soon.
During the event, Joint Coordinator of the Nepali Communist Party Madhav Kumar Nepal claimed that his party has garnered significant public attention due to its clear socialist programs.
