Jhapa: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli arrived in his hometown of Jhapa today, marking the beginning of a two-day engagement in the Jhapa and Ilam districts.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the Prime Minister was warmly received at Chandragadhi Airport by notable figures such as Sher Dhan Rai, the Koshi Province In-Charge of UML, Hikmat Kumar Karki, the Chief Minister of Koshi Province, and Ghanashyam Khatiwada, the Party Chairman in Koshi Province. UML District Chairman in Jhapa, Prem Giri, shared that PM Oli is set to participate in several key programs across the districts.
During his visit, PM Oli is scheduled to inaugurate the Bhagiratha Buddhashanti Hospital at Buddhashanti rural municipality-3 in Jhapa today. Additionally, he plans to distribute land ownership certificates to landless individuals, including those from the Dalit community in Kankai municipality. The Prime Minister will extend his visit to Ilam, where he will also distribute land ownership certificates and inaugurate a municipal hospital in Mai municipality.
