PM’s Special Address at HoR Postponed

Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s special address at the House of Representatives (HoR) scheduled for today has been postponed. Chief Whip of UML parliamentary party, Mahesh Kumar Bartaula, informed that the scheduled address of the PM was removed from parliament business today. However, the session of lawmakers’ questions and answers with the PM runs as it is, he added.

According to National News Agency Nepal, the decision to postpone the Prime Minister’s address was made without specifying the reasons. The House of Representatives was prepared to host the special address, which was anticipated to cover crucial national issues. Despite the postponement of the address, the parliamentary session continued with a question-and-answer segment involving the Prime Minister, maintaining a level of engagement with lawmakers.

The postponement of the address has led to speculations and discussions among political analysts and lawmakers, who were eager to hear the Prime Minister’s views and strategic direction on numerous legislative matters. The rescheduling of the address is yet to be announced, leaving room for further developments in the parliamentary proceedings.
