Prime Minister Oli Calls on Youth to Uphold Elders’ Resolutions


Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has urged the younger generation to dedicate themselves to realizing the goals set by the elders and martyrs of the leftist democratic movements. Prime Minister Oli emphasized the importance of upholding the resolutions of patriotic movements and working towards a prosperous country, as envisioned by the leaders of these movements.



According to National News Agency Nepal, the PM made these remarks during the 28th Tulsilal Memorial Day program organized by the Tulsilal Memorial Foundation. Oli, who also serves as the Chairperson of CPN (UML), appealed to everyone to embrace the ideals and values of Tulsilal, known for his political life marked by unwavering loyalty and sacrifices.



During his address, the septuagenarian leader also highlighted the role of the Constituent Assembly in promulgating the constitution, which is rooted in the vision of leaders who established the republican system in the country through the Constituent Assembly.



The event also saw the awarding of winners from a secondary school-level quiz contest organized by the Foundation. Additionally, a book written by Prof Shyam Sundar Sherpa on Buddhist ideologies was launched at the program.
