Kathmandu: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has initiated a taskforce aimed at coordinating with independent candidates who participated in and were successful at various local, provincial, and federal levels. This move is a strategic step by the party to enhance collaboration with these elected representatives.
According to National News Agency Nepal, RSP Spokesperson Manish Jha announced that the party’s secretariat meeting made the decision to establish the taskforce. The members appointed to this taskforce include Bishnu Kumar Shrestha, Bodha Narayan Shrestha, and Ranju Darshana. Additionally, Upendra Pandey has been tasked with the role of audit committee coordinator, with the responsibility of ensuring a transparent candidate selection process.
The party has also scheduled a pre-election preparatory discussion for Friday, coordinated by General Secretary Kabindra Burlakoti. This discussion aims to streamline election-related activities, ensuring they are conducted with uniformity and a common understanding among all involved.
