Biratnagar: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairperson Rajendra Prasad Lingden has urged political parties to focus on development in a way that resonates with the people. In his address to the inaugural session of the RPP Biratnagar Municipal Committee, Lingden claimed that his party is the only one capable of leading the nation to prosperity.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Chairperson Lingden encouraged party cadres to build a strong organization in both urban and rural areas to address the challenges faced by the people. He emphasized the importance of establishing good governance by tackling corruption and irregularities, which the party has recommended as a priority.
RPP General Secretary Pralhad Prasad Sah urged party members to prepare for mid-term elections, which could occur at any time, and encouraged them to stay connected with the public. Chair Lingden also took the opportunity to launch the book ‘Three Decades of Life in Journalism, Part 1,’ authored by journalist Ashok Paudel.
