Chitwan: At least seven people died and 18 others were injured in a road accident that occurred at Khahare bridge of Rapti municipality in Chitwan district along the East-West Highway today. The tragic incident involved a bus traveling from Dhangadhi to Kakadvitta and an electric vehicle heading to Narayangadh from Makawanpur.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Chief of Chitwan Police, Govinda Puri, reported that the collision between the two vehicles resulted in the fatalities and injuries. The injured individuals are currently receiving medical treatment at Chitwan Medical College, Old Medical College, and Bharatpur Hospital.
