Kathmandu: Two youths lost their lives in a road accident in Chitwan district early this morning. Police reported that a speeding scooter, bearing the registration number Ba Pra 06-003 Pa 0692, lost control near the Bharatpur Airport, resulting in the deaths of the two individuals.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the Chief of the Chitwan District Police Office, Superintendent of Police Govinda Puri, identified the victims as 25-year-old Sandeep Ghimire and 28-year-old pillion rider Kushal Aryal. Both were residents of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-21. They were transported to Bharatpur Hospital after sustaining critical head injuries in the accident, but sadly, they did not survive.
